I read an article about a woman who makes quilts for each winner of the Indy 500. She has been doing it since '76 if I remember correctly. It was cool to read how much her quilts mean to the drivers. They call her the Quilt Lady.

I saw the article in the newspaper. she is fantasatic. the drivers just love her to pieces and her quilts mean a lot to those that get them. they are awesome.
