RAK Thank You!
#1201
Just thought I'd pass this along to all of you ~ I wrote to someone who I was sending a RAK to because her address was incorrect and was being rejected by the post office. In chatting with her, I discovered that she has never received a RAK and thought the list was a dead issue! I know that I am guilty of sending things to my board buddies but this month I decided to look at a few I had never sent anything to. Maybe a few of us are guilty of that?
Anyway ... here are two RAK challenges for you today.
1. Pick someone you've never sent to before
2. As a RAK on the QB - go greet three new comers to the board.

Krystyna, the RAK you sent me was the first one I've received

I received a little box yesterday from Di Ann and in it was a North Dakota thimble (which I didn't have)
and the cutest little Easter eggs I've ever seen ,that she makes!!
Thank you so much Di Ann that was so sweet of you, I love them. I've been showing them to every one
that comes in my shop. It was such a nice surprise.
Wishing every one a wonderful Easter !

Craftykk, it means the poster removed it from the source in which they got it. For example, a lot of mine come from photobucket because I can edit my pic better there, but after awhile I will remove some pics because they've been there for so long and are just taking up space. It's like taking out the trash when it's full. Same thing here like I said, the original poster had to remove their pic. Hope that helps!

I have been gone a few days, so I am catching up.
Havplenty, congratulations on making it through your child care tour. So sorry your sil got the diagnosis she did. I will pray harder for all of you.
Hoppa, so glad you liked the RAK. Funny how the timing works out so well. I hope you are feeling better. Funny! In my mind's eye, you were a tall gent with dark hair, and lots of creativity who was in his mid thirties, way too young for heart problems. I hope your health improves.
Louise, so sorry about the cruise. But I have a panic attack when I think of being on a boat with nowhere to go with people who try to make themselves feel more important by trying to make others feel less so. I need to share this. I have a son who is a gifted pianist, who teaches at the University of Northern Iowa. He worked very hard to get his pHd. I have told many people this. The thing that I am most proud of despite all his talent and accomplishments, is that he is a humble, kind human being. But I am also so touched by the fact that you love your husband so deeply that traveling with him is more important than the opportunity. You are quite the lady!
And Krystyna, your significant birthday and your thoughts, have been pages from my life the last few years. Fortunately, I have long life genes in my family, and I am looking forward to the next third of my life, God willing. I think I am a better person because of the introspection. I just spent the last couple days with many octogenarians, and people in their nineties. I do that when I need to recharge my batteries. Happy birthday to you. (and all those who have birthdays coming up) mary

For some reason I stopped getting email notices from this thread ... so lots of catching up to do.
But first, here are the photos of the wonderful treats I received from Everose aka Di. She sent the most lovely hand tooled honey locust seam ripper made by her husband. It feels wonderful in the hand, so much so that you almost don't mind seam ripping! Also Betty Boop fabric, a tissue holder and pot holder, lovely FQs in green and purple (sorry my camera isn't showing the correct colors) and a fabulous Home Sweet Home lace panel. Thank you so much!
