Default Spring Roses

Finally after a dreary winter SPring is here and one of my rose bushes has really taken off, taller than my car.

Spring is having a rough go here in northern Illinois...nice weather, stuff sprouts, then back to the 30s at nite and today the 40s during the day...the wind is wild...or as we say in Chicagoland, the hawk is flying!!

Lovely! Some of my climbers don't look like they made it through this winter. I have yet to see any leaf buds.

Our roses have nice green leaves, until the bugs start eating them. Weather has turned cooler around here this week. Won't be long until it is so hot and humid I can't stand it.
