Default Thrift Store Shoping

I went by the thrift store hoping to find a sewing machine or two.. No sewing machines but what I did find were books by Tim Lahaye and Jerry B. Jenkins.
they are:
NICOLAE, DESECRATION, APOLLON, ARMAGEDDON, ASSASSINS, THE INWEDDLING AND LEFT BEHIND.
Can't get any better than that...

they were very popular so there are a lot of them around now. Glad you found something you liked!

Lucky you!!! It was an incredible Christian series. Did you get hard covers or paperback? I seldom waited for the paperbacks to come out, because it was such a good series.

My thrift stores never seem to have machines. What I do find is clothing made out of cotton batiks and Bali's. I will buy these, cut them up and use in quilts. Much cheaper than buying by the yard.

Unfamiliar with either those authors or their works. I prefer mysteries or historical fiction myself. I have never seen a sewing machine or decent fabric at any of the thrift stores or Goodwill stores in the vicinity. Either I am getting there after someone else has purchased or none have been donated.....maybe someday....I will find a "treasure", but in the meantime it is "fun" to look around.....

I love these books -I 've read them several times and was lucky like you and have found the entire set and I always keep my eyes open for the rest of their works.I have a few books in their other series and can't wait to find the rest.I keep a list of which ones I have in my purse so I don't end up with duplicates

I'm not familiar with the Tim person, but bet I'd like him. I love to write and really love to read. OH IF ONLY THERE WERE 8 extra hours in a day!
