Default Too Short

My 3-yr old grandson, Patrick, really likes to sit at the machine but can only poke at the numbers and symbols. Not tall enough yet to reach the pedal.

My guild does a one day kids sew-in every summer and have kids as young as about 5 yr. Some of them find it easier to actually stand in front of the machine and use the pedal while standing--gives them more control. Of course, the best thing is if the machine being used has speed control! LOL!

I started my grands sewing with my Singer 201k and 99K hand crank machines. The photo was taken the day they were sewing. http://tinyurl.com/qgp6rp8
