LOL* Not because I can't sell them, but because I can't part with them!!! I for every ten items I list on Etsy, I end up taking five off and keeping them! LOL* I think I'm just going to stick with making t-shirt and memory quilts for people. THOSE I can handle letting go! Lol* ;)

I understand how you feel! I don't have a store, so most of the quilts I sell I know the people and it helps to part with them. Because I know the quilts will be loved and cherished.

Well, I haven't tried to sell any, but I do hate to part with them.

I have been pretty good parting with quilts. When I make quilts for customers I have convinced myself right from the start I'm not the owner. It works for me.

Its funny, but if I start a quilt with the idea of who is going to get it then I don't mind giving it away when finished. If I don't a receiver in mind and I let the quilt lay on the bed, then I have a problem giving it away. It becomes a friend and I want to hang onto it. Am I crazy or what???

when making a customer quilt I never really accept any ownership to it...when making one I want to make just for the sake of making it..I usually determine who its going to during the process...I have less than 5 of our quilts from over the last 20 yrs...out of probably 4 to 500
