The dog is thinking...where is my treat! I like the little ear muffs the dogs wore.

Mine is usually thinking, "Is it time to eat, again . . . or should I sleep, some more?"

Maybe we should try it on the Republican politicians in Washington DC to find out what they are up to. Laughing here.

This is one of my favorite subjects and I've done quite a bit of reading and studying of how dogs think. I have also done some work with my dogs to assist friends working on their PHd's in animal behavior/neuroscience. Most of my work was small experiments about the firing of "touch" neurons (ie determining the distance of a dog's "personal space"). Very interesting stuff and I'll have to ask Obi (my friend) who works with Dr. Temple Grandin a lot (the foremost expert on animal behavior IMO) if they've heard about this MRI. I'm SURE they'll have their own opinions :0

BTW - when my friend Obi told me she was pursuing her PHd she followed it up by telling me "you realize after I have my PHd you'll have to refer to me as "eccentric" instead of nuts".
