Am enjoying 're-finding' the board, following a chat in a USA quilt shop. Why do airplanes now only allow 1 bag each- the fabric here is great!

Hello and Welcome back to the board :D:D:D
They should automatically allow two bags if it is for fabric :D:D:D

Welcome back to the Board. Shipping fabric works. I found some fabric I just had to have in Oregon. Shipped it home to Tennessee in Medium Flat Rate box along with some other purchases. It got here before I did.

    Welcome to the board!!

You can take more than two pieces. Hubby and I always bring our big luggage and check it, and the largest "legal" size carry EMPTY when we cross the pond (the other direction). We have to bring bag tons of tea (PG Tips), and husband just adores Twiglets so a few bags of those, and as much Stilton, Shropshire, and Stinky Bishop as we can manage. Wish customs would allow us to bring meat pies and bangers back. I miss bangers and mash!!
