Hi everyone,
Just wanted to stop in and say a quick "hi" to all.
I recently retired from running my restaurant for
over 40 yrs.
I would like to take up quilting as I have sewn all
my life it seems.
Hope everyone is having a real wonderful day.

Welcome from Southern California!!! Quilting is a wonderful addictive hobby. The fabric buying is something that some of just can't stop doing. This is a great place for inspiration, ideas and encouragement!!

Welcome from St. Louis!
I visited 2 fabris stores yesterday and didn't buy any fabric!!!!! Alas I visited another one today, and succumbed to some yardage, but it is for a WIP that needed just the right sashing, and this is it!!!!! Hooray! So I can finish something! One less UFO!

have been to M&L a few times myself. Spend a couple (ahem) bucks there. What part of Northern California do you live in?

Hi again,
I never get out of M&L for less than $300.
We live east of Folsum about an hour in the mountains.
