Hello from Norman, Oklahoma!

Hi,
I joined and started posting a few pictures and just this morning realized I should have introduced myself! I love quilting as well as many other crafts. The first full size quilt I ever made was for my grandmother, it was a green and cream colored log cabin quilt, hand quilted. My older son still uses the quilt so the quilt is about 30 years old. My dream is to one day own a long arm quilting machine but until then....I piece on an old singer 99 from 1940 and I quilt on my Bernina machine!
Thank you for letting me join such a wonderful group!

Welcome to the best quilting board on the net! I wanted a long arm in the worst of ways, but just didn't have the where-with-all (or the room)...so after some searching I ended up with a sit-down Tin Lizzy. Cost was right, space was right, and it has an 18" throat! Haven't' quilted a king size on it yet. Guess that will be the test.

Thank you for the information! I read your reply and immediately went to the Tin Lizzie sight but found it on a discount site for less than $4,000. I really appreciate the help. Now....I need to get busy saving!
