Great minds think alike? Quilters have lots of love and creativity and therefore love doggies (maybe kitties also). There seems to be a variety of doggies, just like the patterns and colors in the pix shown. I, too, love looking at the masterpieces shown in this site and all the neat tips and comments. This site was a great find!

Lovely dogs. We had a shorthair named Heidi and she was a beauty.

Two dogs here. Moppet, my avatar, Lhasa Apso cross and Remy a Manchester Terrier. Both sit in the sewing room by the window watching what is going on outside while I sew but follow me as soon as I move off my chair.

To the person who is looking for a dog to adopt. If you are in your 70's, you don't want a beagle. My daughter has had 2. Not on purpose, they were rescues, the dogs chose her. They are escape artist in the first degree! They steal food, get out of your yard even when you think it is secure. I think that is how she got both of hers. They got out of their yards and couldn't find their way home. The latest one had tags and was in the local pound. Nobody ever fessed up to owning him so my daughter took him. He is a sweet dog but escapes every chance he gets. But if you get one you should know that you will spend a lot of time chasing him down.
