FW's are just too cute. My husband and I just sold four FW's on this QB. We sold them within 24 hours of putting the message in. Even if you don't sew with it, you will love looking at it. Set it out, and you will see. - Cynthia

Hello and welcome from Kansas, I don't have an FW but would love to have one, many of my quilting friends say they wouldn't trade theirs for anything and even use them at home where they have very expensive new ones. I say get it checked out and enjoy.

I am dying to find a Featherweight. It doesn't even have to sew. Just want to look at it and dream about who may have used it. Would especially like to find one made in 1933. That's a long time ago.

Bea...talk about wanting one where ever you go. My story: After having read about FW's on this board for a long long time, one day while wasting time with my DH wandering through an antique mall I saw one for the first time! It was for sale, too!! Way out of my price range, though. But I talked to it and stroked it and sighed and walked away. A couple weeks later while having lunch with my sisters I was telling them the story and how I drooled my sister said, I have one, want it??? I about fell off my chair. I said you don't want to give away a FW. She said she wanted to give it to someone who appreciated it for what it was and does and yes she wanted to give it to me! I was speechless and said finally, YES, I WANT IT!! You never know who has one that doesn't use it or has no place for it. My sister is a foster mom and she said once she started getting teens in the house she put it away in the closet for fear of it getting damaged.
See??? Talk about wanting one, you may be as surprised as I was! Good luck to you!
