I LOVE Amazon Prime. When I buy from the web, prices are usually very reasonable and 2-day shipping free. Free access to movies, tv shows, commercial-free music. Also I'm finding the Prime Kindle Library useful -- I read a lot and don't mind reading and returning. It allows you to have 10 books at a time.
This time of year Prime has paid for itself. I have most of my Christmas shopping done and shipped all over the country for free. It includes tracking and sends you a message when delivered. With the cost of postage constantly going up (noticed a big increase in the rates for "If it fits it ships" boxes at the post office), my Prime subscription has paid for itself just over this holiday.
Thanks for the heads-up on this free quilting book! I love deals like this.

I have had Prime since it was available. I watch movies, tv shows, get free apps, free two day shipping (if you select regular shipping you get $1 credit and many times up to $5 when ordering some items) and get to select one book out of six of the editor's picks for the month every month for free. The Kindle Lending Library, Prime Gold Box deals, Special Prime offers, I don't see a reason to be disappointed with it. I use to my advantage.
