I was reading a post on here and did some research online and found this about how to determine the age of antique Singer sewing machines

I have my grandma's and need to get it out and see what age it is?

This will be interesting. Who else has antique Singer sewing machines.

Yes, the people we bought it from dated it. I got it at for 20 bucks. Cause they needed it out of the house. Even came with tons of goodies. Like the ruffler and a bias tape thing and a hemmer, it's pretty cool. The "classic" one was given to me by my Aunt, that machine now sits on that cabinet.

The singer site is a lot easier to find your FW or old singer machines and dates. I have went in there several times to see and did some research, not a lot, and they offer the best.

That was fun! I have my grandmother's machine. It was built 1926 in Elizabeth, NJ. Thanks for posting that resource. I also have a 1950 Featherweight.
