Now this is a better mousetrap!

These remind me of these little foam popper things my mom got for my kids a few years back. My son(3) two years ago for christmas got two packs of foam building blocks (they don't hurt when you step on them like legos) I wonder what he would say if I used them to hold pins in my quilts. lol

At least I could see the pins!LOL

Their only drawback is their price LOL

I think someone posted about these a while back and while they look nifty, if I remember, they were very pricey.

What a cool idea. No more pins sticking my fingers.

That's a neat idea! I appreciate that she identified the fabrics and he pattern she used. I always want to know about the quilt shown in advertising and they rarely ever show it.

And, I love how she separated out the pins using the magnetic pin cushion! lol

The price is a bit high, though. Especially because I prefer to spray baste and don't pin very often.

Cool tool. It does appear it might be a danger to young children as a choking hazard. Hmm.

wow, those are expensive

I like using straight pins for basting, it's fast and easy but nothing has worked to stay on the ends of the pins through the whole quilting process. At .04 each for molded non toxic silicone that can be used hundreds of time I think it's a fair price for the value.
