Default 1/16th Inch Pattern and need Ruler

I have a pattern and all the measurement cuts are in 16th of an inch. Anyone know if there is a ruler made in 16th of an inch? I would appreciate any/all suggestions or place to purchase, etc.. Thank you.

I have never seen one. The times I've needed that measurement I've just guesstimated 1/2 way between the 1/8 inch markings on my rulers. It seemed to work just fine.

Ewwww!! Is this a really old pattern by any chance?

No. None of my quilting rulers show 16ths.

I'm assuming they are odd 16th's or you'd convert them to eight's or quarters.

I've never seen one on a "sewing" type ruler. I have regular rulers and metal tape measures that have the 16th's though.

    I don't have a 1/16" ruler. However Omnigrid makes a 3x18 and a 4x8" ruler. Both of these are marked for 1/8".

I did a quilt that was based on 1/16" measurements with some friends. We just estimated the half way mark tween the 1/8" marks. That experience taught us what we never want to do again ... make another quilt with 1/16" incremental measurements.

    Hope this helps.

Wow, I can't imagine why the measurements are in 1/16ths! I have an Omnigrip ruler by Omnigrid that has a 3/16th mark but not 1/16th. Can you show us what the quilt pattern is?

Creative Grids make rulers with only specialty measures. I have one that measures only in 7/8 measurements. It's great. The lines start at 1 7/8 and go 2 7/8 and so forth. They may have one that starts at 1 1/16 and on up.
