Default Bernina 430 Embroidery Machine Question

How do I move the design in the hoop to begin on one side instead of the middle of the hoop. I have read the book and cannot get it thru my head. Would appreciate any assistance! Thanks!

If I understand your question, first you have to go to the place where you "unclick" CENTER DESIGN IN HOOP. I'm not in my sewing room but I think it's under the hoop tab. Then you can move the design. If all else fails, move the fabric in the hoop so the design ends up where you want it.

It's nice to know others have the similar problems with learning their machines as I do. I have unlimited training with my dealer, (I have a Viking Topaz 20) but sometimes you don't have questions until you are in the middle of a project and don't want to drop everything to run over to them. But I bought this one program for the alphabet and it said it was not just font that each letter was its own design but that made didn't mean anything to me at the time. Long story short I was unable to figure out how to change designs after each one without having to shut off the machine and start over. After an hour or more of testing this and that we took a break and I said I wonder what this button is for, and then the screen goes back and says, changing design and the design list pops up. My friend and I stared at the machine and just started to laugh. We both looked thru the book more than once and thought we had been thru the index more than that and so all we could do is laugh.
