2013 UFO Therapy Thread - Sister Thread to 2013 UFO Challenge of the Month

I'm going to need some encouragement to get this month's UFO finished. I loaded it up on the long arm yesterday, and started quilting today. It is BIG, and based on the first session, it is going to take a long time to finish. Still hoping to complete it this month, but it's going to be a marathon to get there.
I suppose this quilt isn't really a UFO, since I just finished the top in Feb. But if I don't get it done this month it will become one, so I hope I'm allowed to count it.

You must be doing some heavy quilting for it to be taking awhile. More power to you. You can do it girl, yes you can.
If youw ant to count this gorgeous quilt as a ufo completed and it is done, then do so. It is very pretty.

Not too heavy, but STID around all the stars. Each block is taking about 30-45 minutes, and there are 30 of them. One step at a time - I do better if I focus on just the next block

Krista - your quilt is so pretty! I love your sashing and your color choices. Can't wait to see your quilting!
I've been working on 2 small UFOs today, an Easter Table Topper made from swap blocks and a Wall Quilt made from "Little Charmer's II" by Anka's Treasures. The Easter Topper is ready for hand binding and I'm just getting started on the quilting around the stars of my wall quilt.

I spent a chunk of yesterday basting (hooray for Elmer's glue!) and meandering on this colorful baby quilt for a friend in Canada. She has a toddler son and an 'unknown' on the way next month, and she's a huge rainbow fan herself. I picked an easy, fun pattern. This is also my first time meandering anything, and first time FMQ'ing something larger than a mug rug! It's messy but not godawful and the lil'uns certainly won't notice.
Now I need to bind and label it...! But not until later, since I have to work all day. Ah well.
(We were quilting at the local library, so the pictures on the wall are from nearby Elementary schools.)
