Fraew your Easy Street is AMAZING! I love that border fabric and it looks like your B&W background fabrics are really "jazzy" for lack of a better word. I don't think I'll ever get tired of seeing these!

I just have to go there. Here is a photo of a ufo I am working on. I picked it up again after grudgingly tossing it aside because of the applique pieces. Ugh, just have to buck it up and do it. So they are on, not bad either, used the fusible instead of hand work like pattern said. It is my quilt right, can do how I want! The little tiny dresdan flowers were done by hand then I glued them down and blanket stitched them down as well. Those are my first try at the tiny little buggers. Then pieced the border as instructed. I have two more borders to put on. I am hoping to have done tonight. Will post whole photo tomorrow or maybe later tonight when done. It seems that the prettier ones are just now getting done for me. Last year I did some really nice ones, but did a bunch that just were not perfect and gorgeous. The ones I have left now are on that side of nicer.
Good report for me, I am almost done with the UFOs, then I am on to the WIPs. I do have several of those. I do not want to call them UFOs, because they are ones that I worked on or just got all cut up and ready to go but never started them. Those are WIPs right? So the discussion goes on. I know I have a Hunter Star that is a UFO without a doubt. Have picked it up and set it down so many times. Then there is that Moose Applique Wallhanging that I have picked up, set down, picked up, set down, all the tracing, cutting, fusing, and such is ready, all it needs is assembled, quilted, and binding. Do our swap blocks from last year count as ufos? I have quilted up the ones from previous years. I would hope they are WIPs. I have several of those I need to put into some quilts. I have three sets cut and ready to be assembled. I just have not taken the time to put them into quilts. Please give me some clarification so I do not feel like I am never going to see the end of these UFOs.

I decided I had better post something on this thread instead of just reading about everyone else. QM, your meticulous quilt is fabulous. I am envious of your work. My UFO of late has been the GFG. I finally finished hand quilting it last month and just these past few days I got the binding machine stitched on one side. Now to get the other side hand sewn down. Top and bottom of quilt are straight but the sides are the edges of the hexis. It is very toucy work as I have to pin and pin and make sure everything stays in place until I get it stiched down. Then I go back and stitch the little tuck shut just to keep it there. The peaks are not so bad as they are just like turning a corner on a quilt binding but the valleys are a mite harder. There are 35 peaks on each side and I have five done. One day at a time. Will add some pics of binding in progress. My first time doing bias binding, too!
