i have also tried R foot and open toe foot-
no difference in results
i do not have a spring action foot
i am quilting thru batting...should stippling thru layers necessitate a sa foot?
is there possibly a difference between floating fm and quilting fm?

Do you use a spring action foot when doing your free motion quilting?
I don't have one and have shreading and breaking thread!
