Any non-sewing items that you use for quilting?

I use a washable glue stick for holding tricky seams together where pins would make a lump. I use my grandma's very small crochet hook to pull threads into the batting after quilting. I use zip top bags to keep small pieces together. I use the sheet protectors to hold unfolded pattern pieces. Looking around the sewing room, the most prominant items are those wonderful plastic bins that hold everything from rotary blades to thread to fabric.

Oh....Divokitty'smom reminded me about under the sewing machine. I use the comfort pads that you get when you have a mammogram.......they're nice dense foam with an adhesive side that goes on the mammo machine. I know - a little over the top but they use it for a few minutes and toss them away. I bring mine home.
