Anyone have a Singer 7146 ?
#1
My DH rescued a Singer 7146 from our council's waste collection the other day - our neighbours had put it out for collection and DH said he's always wanted to see how a sewing machine works.
The needle goes up and down if you crank the wheel, but not always. Biggest concern is that the foot pedal and power cord were not with the machine. It seems to have a 5 pin connector to the machine, which seems unusual to me.
Does anyone know anything about this machine, like if it's worth fixing up, where we could order a replacement power supply or maybe get our hands on a wiring diagram. DH is pretty handy.
I'll be looking out for your comments. Thanks.

Thanks. I found a link to buy the pedal here.

$79.95 for a pedal seems a lot to pay considering this is a machine we picked up as essentially garbage, so raiding a second machine for parts seems like a good idea, if we can find one.
