Thread: applique borders

When you do an applique border is it easier to applique before or after you put the border on? I am doing a table runner.

Depends on if you want the pattern to overlap the border. Usually it is easier to do it before adding borders just because there is less bulk to deal with. I think it's a "whatever works best" situation.
