I started a string log cabin quilt , just to see how it would work, well I did not* put it on muslin, now I wish I had because of all the strings...... so I am wondering, if I cut a piece of muslin the size of the quilt, right sides together, then put the flannel on top of the muslin, and then sew and turn so the muslin would be on the inside. Then I would have a heck of a time quilting it, I don't do fmq at all........
    any suggestions.......
