I just quilted a lap quilt with 2 layers of Soft and Crafty ( THINK that was the name) . I bought a roll at JA on sale. It is a low loft poly. That puppy is heavy! lol I was just wanting to try out a double layer for definition of my quilting. I have used wool once and it was a dream to machine quilt. Its not heavy...you could put a layer of wool and a layer of W&N. Wool is a bit on the pricey side. (I can look at the poly next week if you are interestest...out of town now)
