Okay, I did it today I paid for a new Bernina 580 and will pick it up on Sunday.
I went to the quilt shop today and one of the woman who just returned from her training on the 580 took 2 hours of free time and sat with me and went through everything that the machine does, answered all of my questions and then I was able to sew on it also.
What a true dream so quite and smooth I can't believe I was so hesitant about buying a Bernina.
I had posted a question about the 450 and greatly appreciate all the positive comments that I received from everyone. I was at the quilt shop the other day talking to the girls about my need to get a new machine as the one I own now is in the shop for the last time and they said you have to come and see the 580 when it arrives this week. So glad I did and I will give an update after I get it home.
    Wish me the best
