Well DH finally agreed to my purchase of a new Bernina 830 which includes the embroidery module. It is the shop demonstrator so will have to wait until they get the Limited Edition demonstrators before it can have my machine. That will give me time to clean up the sewing studio, move things around and figure out what it is going to sit on. So excited.

p.s. Can't type. It should say 830 in subject.

That's wonderful!! I saw one demonstrated at the Knitting & Stitching show here last year, it looks fabulous. Are you getting the jumbo hoop?

Yes, I bought the jumbo hoop as it does not come with the machine unless you pay the regular price and get some freebies thrown in. Rather pay the lower price for the demo model. Have a Bernina 200 that has been upgraded to the 730 with BSR and a lot of the feet will work with the 830.

Thanks for asking. I just received it about a week ago. It's out of the box and on the desk and I did one embroidery for an in the hoop cup sleeve then left her all alone to go on a Monday through Thursday quilt retreat. Looking forward to getting back to start really using the machine. Can't wait to try the dual feed feature to do some quilt in the ditch on a baby quilt.
