I bought Bobbins for my 440 at JoAnns. Make sure you buy te ones that say they are compatable with Berina 440. Buy them with a coupon and then they are very economical. I think they come in a 5-pack.

Congratulations on your "new" bernina. Now you will be so spoiled, you will never go back to anything else. LOL! Buy as many of the feet as you can afford and need. They are so wonderful to have and I haven't found one that I didn't like and use, they make your sewing life so much easier. Caution!! The walking foot is a ton of money to replace. Take good care of it. Don't ask how I know this.

I was checking out bernina's on ebay the other day and even an old 830 Record like I passed on to my sister can run a thousand dollars!

Congratulations on your purchase. I have a 440 and I have done a ton of hours and quilts and other items. You cannot go wrong with a Bernina.
