I stopped buying paper napkins. I use old white ones that wash & bleach nicely. Then got the idea to make some cute napkins as gifts-
dancing chili peppers for a friends'housewarming & cute little hedgehogs for my DD who loves (?!) hedgehogs. Not a bad way to use your stash at your next clan gathering!! Maybe to match your table runner.

Do you hem them or use a serger? They are a very cute gift idea.

I just hem them. Still waiting for DD to help my post my pictures!! I probably have an attachment that will do a better job. I still have to investigate the options on this machine.

I'm wondering the same. Also, do you use 100% cotton fabric?

I keep a basket in my kitchen filled with fabric napkins. I haven't used paper in over a year. I still have to wash them and some people thinks that is extra laundry, but it really doesn't take up extra space in the wash.

I do use cotton. At least 15" square. Fun for parties
