if I have a New Home machine and a Singer Quantum
can I wind the bobbins for the Singer on the New Home machine.
would there be some kind of tension thing here between the machines to inter mix ??

I believe that, as long as the bobbins fit on the winder of a machine, you can use it. Bobbins for different machine brands can be quite different, though, so may not fit.

Give it a try. The pin the bobbin fits on may not be the correct size. I love my sidewinder. The box said it would not fit one of my machines but it does just fine. :)

I was always leery of buying this because of tension.
But I have seen where others have used it also and liked it.

It may work fine now but may now with repeated use. There are many machines where for some reason the bobbin winder no longer works.

For this reason, I got the small Sidewinder and just love it! I used a 50% coupon. It runs on batteries or by electric. I'm trying to save by bobbin winder on my expensive machine to avoid a repair bill.

If you have young child that want to help while you are sewing, give him/her empty bobbins, thread and the Sidewinder. Constructive play at it's finest.
