I made the Bow tuck Tote.....but its a little to big to use for a purse...so can you just cut it down and try to make it a bit smaller or do i need to buy the mini Bow tuck pattern....i really didnt want to but i wasnt sure if it worked...

The mini main pieces are 11 1/2" x 17". If you can adjust your sides to that. The Mini is a good size.

I have made a few with a reduced pattern from the original. These are my cut sizes:
    Top portion, front and back---2 of 7" x 16"
    bottom contrast front & back ----2 of 5" x 16"
    lining ------------------------------2 of 11 1/2" x 16"
    front pocket -----------------------1 of 4 1/2" x 7 1/2"
    front pocket lining ----------------1 of 6 1/2" x 7 1/2"
inside pockets ---------------------1 of 11" x 33" (you cut in half to make 2 pockets)
    Pellon: 4 of 11 1/2" x 15 3/4" (front, back, lining)
    1 of 5" x 16 1/2" (inside pockets)
    1 of 4 1/2" x 7 1/2" ( front pocket)
    1 of 41/4" x WOF ( handle)

The bag bottom I always wait until the bag is done, then make the sturdy bottom to fit.
The handles and loop fastener are the same, and your side ties can be shortened after sewing on, if you want.
    Hope this helps!
