    Has anyone here ever installed a built-in ironing board....the type that is inset between wall studs? We are remodeling our house and I am thinking about putting one in the laundry room and I would love to know what brand you used and how you like it.

    I think those are really neat, and they save space. My Mum had one in her house, as well as a laundry chute...shoving my friends little brother down that chute ended with Dad nailing it shut! LOL

    Shadow...LOL.... i don't have either but the iron board sounds like a great thing as a space saver.

    I have a built in ironing board. It came with the house. I love it.
    Another key feature is when the door is closed, it's a full length mirror :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

    Connie,

    I found Iron-away on the internet. Is the board nice and sturdy at the rounded end when you press down?

    It's a Nu Tone. Mine is 12 yrs old. Looks like they have more modern ones now. Here's their site:
