Has anyone made a wrap to swaddle a newborn baby in? I know you can do it with a recieving blanket, just wondered if anyone has sewn something specifically for that purpose?

I bought a pattern for one in my LQS. It had a sling, swaddle and nursing coverup in the same pattern. I only made the nursing coverup, though. It says KWIK SEW by Kerstin Martensson #3734. We just bought the ready made ones for the GS and they do wear them for sleeping. Really seems to comfort a fussy baby.

I like to use the stretchier fleece fabrics for this.
So soft, warm, and the fleece seems to stay tucked in better too :D:D:D

This is a bit off topic but my Mom made my firstborn a circular knitted blanket, rather than the standard rectangle. Beautiful!!! And so easy to wrap him up in it.
