:!: I was going through old Christmas cards to make tags for gifts and came across one that would make a great wall hanging. It had three rows of three letters each spelling "CHRISTMAS" with a picture for each letter (C=candles; H=holly, etc.) I have patterns for paper-pieced kind of wonky-looking letters that I thought would be great done with fabric for each letter (C=fabric with candles, etc.). I'll have to start collecting fabrics!

What a great idea for a wallhanging. I once got an idea for a quilt from a pattern in tile in a hotel lobby. My family kep saying..."Oh mom, don't!!" LOL I was just sketching!!!
