My Mom realized I was the creative child when I took sewing in 5th grade and bought me my first machine from Montgomery Ward in a cabinet. She also bought me my 2nd machine when I went away to college as a Home Economics major - a Singer which I used for more than 30 years until it finally was unfixable. Moms are the best for helping you find your passion!!!! Have fun with your new toy!!!!

Good luck with making the right decision for you between the two models.

How wonderful!!! I got my machine with an inheritance from my dad, I think of him each time I use my machine. Now you will always have wonderful thoughts of your mum & memories of your great aunt!

What a treat! You must feel like a child just days before Christmas.

Sharing her good fortune is a wonderful thing for your mother to do; I'm sure she will enjoy seeing you use your new machine as much as you will.

Enjoy and pls post pictures!
