Its on my to-do list. I have the pattern but it will take a while to get blue jean scraps.

Default Picnic quilt

I just completed this picnic set for my granddaughter. It will be an "extra" wedding gift and I plan to place a set of silverware from each of her great-grandmothers in the placemat pockets.

Yes I have made one and love it. I used flannel to back the denim circle but did not use batting because I felt it would be too heavy. Good luck with your project

I have a tub of jeans and a bunch of patriotic squares that I bought from a lady getting rid of all her sewing stuff. This is a good use of both of those. I'll have to give it a try when I get caught up.

This is really pretty! What stitch did you use to sew around the edges of the denim arcs? Did it fray like that in the washer? I watched that tutorial above and she suggests using zig-zag but then would we get the frayed effect?
