Our club needs a small project to sell and make a profit for the club at the next quilt show. Any ideas?

Potato bags, grocery bags (they are so popular now, everyone is going green) mini wall hangings.

Nametags. Our guild wants everyone to wear a nametag and some people just don't want to make their own but are willing to buy one ready-made. So if your guild expects everyone to wear nametags, make them and sell them.

How about postcard made from photos of guild members quilts? Or make quick stationary using fabric scraps. Or perhaps fabric luggage tags for those bringing their machines to classes. Or scissors minders -- you know those short beaded things that can personalize your scissors so they don't inadvertantly walk away. Or maybe rotary cutter holders made from quilted pot holders or decorated eyeglasses cases.

I have a pattern for a double handle potholder which is really neat. I like Sharon b's ideas. Easy peasy but personalized.

The little wieghted waste bags that hang from the table, sewing mats with the pockets in them, remote control minders (those chair caddy things), chatalaines, mini quilt pins, or those tiny quilted keychains (there's a tutorial thread on here--posted around the end of May)

Lots of good ideas from the other posts, but also, pincushions are so easy to make. allpeoplequilt.com has several different kinds you can make and they are sooooo simple. Now they come in all shapes and sizes.

TOTES! The ones that are a little taller than what we usually see.
