Yes I remember, but I have to say that my days are much happier when I spend it with my fabric and my sewing machine. Today we planted our flowers and veggies, while I'm happy that we did I also missed an entire day away from sewing.

Yes, my grandmothers quilted and my mom has dabbled in it too - I could never figure out why my mom kept buying fabric when she already had too much. Well, now I am starting to get some of her overload and I seem to have a fabric addiction also. Oh well, I guess its better than other vices.

My dad used to ask my quilty grandmother and mother why one would spend all that time cutting fabric into little pieces then sew them together again. And why spend $$$$ for quilt fabric when you could simply buy a blanket at Monkey Wards or Sears for a whole lot less.
