Do you take photos of your work?

I keep finished pictures in a leather bound album(s) of my finished quilts. On the back of the pictures I put the size, fabric used if known and who it went to and why. I need more albums. I've filled 2, but don't remember where I bought them originally to match them. I could use at least 2 more. I also put alot of them on my webshots.com page. But I haven't added many in the last 2 years.

I take pictures of everything I make, blankets, quilts and aprons. I keep them on the computer and print out a copy for my records also. I include a brief summary of who I made it for, what insprired it, when I started and when I finished it; scraps of the fabric used, etc.

I try, but that's about it. I have a couple of quilt diaries to put the info in, but I can honestly say, it doesn't get a lot of use. I do manage to take pictures most the time, but that's about it, but I do label the quilts I give away.

I do take pictures of everything I make from scratch. Wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses, baby blankets, quilts, pillows, confirmation dresses, etc. That said, I started my "portfolio" before cameras went digital, so I don't have them on the computer. Most of the stuff I have time for since I had kids is hemming and repairs, and I don't take pics of those.
