Elle....You do realised how SMALL your pieces are gonna be...
Make sure you adjust your stitch length, oh and you might have to find a really small foot and wear those extra strong glasses I saw you admiring in the charity shop.........I just cut your 6" square to bring on Tuesday...it will have to be a 'micro watercolour' may I suggest a dolls quilt..TEE HEE

Yes, the pieces are small. 2 inch squares! UGH!
That's the reason for using the quilt fuse!

Terri, you really were tired when you read through these comments...I was winding Elle up telling her I was only gonna let her have a 6" piece of the fusible stuff. so she would have to use super small pieces to make a quilt don't you see???....I don't wanna share - gonna throw me doll out of me pram as we say over here lol!!!!

thank heavens you are going to share or else I would have had to come over there and straighten you out. Let me know how it goes I haven't had the nerve to dig in yet. I have a specific picture in mind to try to replicate and so I will be on my own creative devices, am going to try the fuse and stitch method.

Joking aside DA - The watercolor quilting is spectacular, but you have to have a massive selection of fabrics to get the right affect...I suppose each square is like the pixel on a digital image.....If we could blow an image up extra large, we could all make a massive one using fat quarters lol!!!!!!!!!!

I have been stashing just for that purpose. I even carried my picture to get the shades right. I do like the idea of fat quarters- they would have to display it in a big hall so people would have to stand way back to get the effect we want. I'll bring my stash you bring yours and we'll meet in an ocean liner halfway.
