Well after all my excitement it has taken me months to get everything taken care of and get myself organized to make a quilt or two for the new grandbaby. September 15 is looming!
I am basing the quilt on the pattern Modern Mix at allpeoplequilt.com. Yes I have too much fabric for a crib quilt so I figure I'll end up with something to donate too. (Or something to keep here!)
Pattern instructions say to sort material into 5 groups of four matching dark and light colors.
1. Should I just eye up my groups? OR
2. Be very "organized" about it?
I'm afraid if I think too much I'll lose the random funky look I'm going for.
When I get a moment I will attach a picture of my fabric choices.
Thanks for any guidance you can give me.
