Default First EPP project and need help finding border fabric please!

First off I would like to thank the people here who replied to my questions about starting a paper piecing project. I decided to use the glue stick method and am now completely addicted. Far enough on my first project that I am needing a border fabric now and have not seen anything IRL or online yet. Because the top will be appliquéd to a border without the half diamonds on the top and sides filled it it is really key that I find something right because A LOT of it will show. Looking for a chestnutty brown print that is medium or large in scale. Need to have lots of cream with the brown. In my head it looks vintage like cabbage roses or toile but I am coming up empty. Sorry, I know this is very specific but if anyone has seen anything like that could you point me in the right direction. Many thanks to the kind ladies of this wonderful board! I would never have believed I liked hand sewing!

Sorry I'm no help on the borders. You could google the block name and see what comes up.

I really just wanted to say your blocks are beautful! Pretty nice for your 1st EPP, I'd say.

Beautiful diamonds! I think a brown tiny Civil War print might work?

Beautiful workDon-isewman Put a hexagon quilt with a border done by a lady for him on his site or in pictures about a week ago. I would also go for a brown border. If you need one.

I love it...my suggestion would be a stripe. Do you have any of the stripe that you used in the second diamond from the left? I also see the same stripe in the last block of the same row(top row)

Check out this site for some inspriation. This lady does some lovely things with hexagons. I love your diamonds. It looks like a few are connected with diamonds. I like that so much. I like your color choices. I am also working on a diamond quilt top, using EPP and hexagons. I really like EPP. Its like potato chips......you can't eat just one!!!

Your fabric and color choices are outstanding. I can't tell for sure, but they remind me of Fig Tree fabrics. Would you be able to find something coordinating among them? In fact, take a look at the project under the Mill House Inn link.

Your quilt is going to be stunning!

I like using quiltshops.com to search for fabrics. It is a search engine that scans over 200 online fabric shops. There are several brown/cream toiles. Type in toile in the search box and click Thumbnails. There will be many hits to search through for the colors you want. I tried to narrow it down by color and fewer choices were displayed.

Also, found this cabbage rose print by searching the same website:

Would love to see your quilt when it is finished!
