I really like to work with fleece and flannel for other than quilting and found out here that some of you use these fabrics for backing. Are there any issues with the differences in the "stretch" of these compared to the "stretch" of the 100% cotton quilt top when using them together? Or are there any other things I should watch out for? Thanks ahead of time for your assistance. :)

I would definitely use the spray baste with fleece. Flannel should be fine, but I would prewash.

I agree, and a walking foot would be very helpful too if not FMQ :D:D:D

I've used flannel and I do it just like regular cotton. Make sure you prewash.
