Default Fons and Porters Imperial Diamond Quilt

Has anyone done this quilt? I'm trying to decide whether to buy the pattern. It doesn't look terribly complicated, but I hate to spend $10.00 then decide it's way over my skill level. (Again!)

Thanks

this is a really pretty quilt and if you like it then BUY the pattern! I watched the video on how to make it and it does not look too hard. It is basically putting a block on-point with the setting triangles. the way to incease your skill level is to try new things. Just take your time, read and follow the directions. You CAN make this quilt!!!!!!

Just watched the video for this Imperial Diamond Quilt, it really is an easy quilt to make. For a beginner I think having the F&P half square & quarter square ruler would be very helpful. Once you start making it you'll wonder why you were afraid to do it in the beginning. Then you'll tell everyone "Oh! it was easy". I say go for it, it looks like a beautiful quilt.
