You can double sided tape stick it to the floor. I just catch the cord with mine and it stays where I want it.

try one of those mouse pads, or that rubbery type of shelf liner.

Some folks say use a mouse pad. Others say that some of the dish mesh they put in cabinets works nicely. Some use rug unders that keep rugs from traveling.

I didn't have anything like that when I got mad one evening, so cut down a small box so the foot pedal would fit in it, along with my big foot. The box was small so I glued it onto a piece of wood that stopped against the wall, now I always know where the pedal is and it doesn't travel. Some day I'll make this in wood but right now it works nicely. My Brother is now under control.
For whatever reason, my older Singer's pedal doesn't travel.

Duct tape to the rescue!! Wish I'd thought of that.

Mine was moving too, so my husband gave me a piece of rubber lining from his tool chest. And now it stays in place. :-D

Mine is on carpet, so I just put a box in front of it and it can't go anywhere.
