Here's a story -- When I learned how to quilt, I had no one to teach me and I didn't have time to take classes. I was working for Child Protective Services at the time and donated many of my quilts to children in need. Each one of them was sent with the thought that even though the sender was anonymous, indeed someone cared.
My quilts, whether taken care of, cherished or well worn are still given from the heart. I'd rather see my work faded and worn than stored away in a box and forgotten.
