Thank you GramE, I appreciate the link! I was trying a thimble for piecing on my index finger, I will try switching to my middle finger.

I know that Jenny Beyer does most of her piecing by hand. I would go find some u-tube videos if she has made any.

Thimbles come in different sizes. Once I found the size that fit me perfectly, I bought a bunch. I use bees wax to drag my thread through to avoid tangles.

I tried this thimble when piecing yesterday and it worked great! Plus I found I have more control pushing the needle when I wear it on my middle finger. Thank you GramE.
