    Look for a Jenny Byers book and titurials see is a pro and deminstrations are very helpful.

    The nice thing about hand piecing is that you can take it with you (which requires remembering to take it - lol)

    I prefer machine piecing - at least some things get DONE. Likewise with the quilting.

    It's really personal preference.
