Since they were first added I've been drooling over the batiks in my Connecting Threads catalog. So today I placed a huge (for me) order. I'm planning a quilt for my daughter based on Eleanor Burns' Quick Trip quilts book. Course I had to add a few other items I've had my eye on. Now I can't wait for it to get here.

I loved Connecting Threads. They used to have a retail shop and warehouse here in Vancouver, WA. How sad it was for us when they moved, to Ohio, I think it is. They still have their call center here. Good luck on your project.

I ordered them when they first because available and didn't open them till the other night. I got the FQ assortment of all of them and I have to say I am very pleased with them. The colors are gorgeous and the fabric feels like a really good quality. I will definitely order more of them!

I've ordered their thread (which I love) but not their fabric. After all the comments on how nice the fabric is I'm pretty anxious to get my order. I also ordered a kit for a baby blanket. Don't really need a baby blanket right now but it was a cute pattern and the price was right. Anyway, it will be nice to have one on hand.

I order the sampler of every new CT fabric line. I can see each fabric and decide which ones I want yardage of. I usually order the 10" stack samplers. It really helps to decide what to buy when the yardage goes on clearance.
