Default Has anyone attended "Superior University?"

The next session of Superior University (from Superior threads) is starting in September, and I was wondering if it's worth the money. Anyone gone thru it?

http://www.superiorthreads.com/superior-university/ This is the description of Superior Univerisity. It is about different type threads and how/where to use them. I signed up a couple of days ago and I'm looking forward to starting. Several people from Pattern Review are joining and going to have sew together/apart each month.

I took this class at Road to California a couple years ago. It was interesting to learn about Egyptian Cotton and how the different kinds of threads act. I don't recall the price, but it was good information. I wonder if you can get just as much insight if you research how thread is made, etc. There website is very helpful too.

This made me curious. I have watched some of the Superior Threads Utubes. I learned quite a bit. I looked at Superior Thread website.

Superior University is a monthly on-going project class, they ship the project supplies & instruction to you. It's a 30-90 min project. You learn how to utilize different threads.

School of threadology is an in-depth serger class. Three Days. Looks wow to me!

I think it's $20 a month plus $30 for the initial kit. I was hoping it would force me to try some things I might not do otherwise, but I 'm still on the fence. They say you can cancel anytime, so might be worth a shot.
